Advanced Pain Management was excited to welcome Dr. Jonathan Altman and Dr. Eun Kwang Byun who served clinical rotations with us these last few weeks. Both served under the direct supervision of Dr. Hemant Yagnick, medical director of Advanced Pain Management, and came to us by way of the Wellstar Pain Management & Anesthesiology program, and are completing their pain fellowships at Augusta University, Medical College of Georgia Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine.

Dr. Jonathan Altman completed his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine, and residency at the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Eun Kwang Byun completed his medical degree at Seoul National University College of Medicine in Korea, and residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Byun is also board certified with the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the American Board of Internal Medicine.

These clinical rotations provide welcomed experience for upcoming physicians and are vital in specialty medicine, such as pain management, enabling theoretical knowledge to be combined with practical skills creating well-rounded physicians who are better prepared to manage the unique challenges pain presents for patients.
We would also like to thank Dr. Anterpreet Dua, associate professor and program director at Augusta University Medical College of Georgia, and Dr. Steffen Meiler, department chair at Augusta University Medical College of Georgia, for their continued partnership with Advanced Pain Management. We are always excited to welcome and train the next generation of pain management physicians.
